Founder and Principal Architect

Daniel C. Go is the Founder and Principal Architect of ADGO Architecture and Design.

Recognized as one of the most accomplished and versatile architects in the country, Daniel’s expertise extends to a wide variety of building typologies, such as church buildings, office buildings, industrial and storage complexes, commercial and mixed-use buildings, and residential structures. He doesn’t conform to a single style, adapting instead to each client’s requirements so he could translate them into the most efficient of design solutions.

Daniel obtained his Bachelor of Science in Architecture at the University of Santo Tomas in 1989, where he graduated cum laude. He has garnered multiple accolades and distinctions over the years. He was conferred as a Fellow of the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) in 2006, and registered as an APEC Architect in 2008. In 2015, he became an ASEAN Architect, positioning the company for international and cross-border practice. He received the highest honor a professional in his field could receive—the 2020 Outstanding Professional of the Year in the Field of Architecture, bestowed by the Professional Regulation Commission upon a professional as recommended by his peers.

Daniel’s greatest strength is his innate ability to immediately visualize how a project should be designed; years of understanding and analyzing every environment he sets foot on has honed his intuition for design, allowing him to know how each space can be maximized and efficiently used. While his aesthetics are influenced by the likes of Tadao Ando, Zaha Hadid, Antoni Gaudi, Richard Meier, and Frank Lloyd Wright, he believes that buildings should also provide viability for return of investment to the client. His ego-less, business-like approach to architecture makes him a top choice for clients looking to build cost-efficient projects that remain iconic in form.

As the leader of the company, Daniel is a strong believer in mentorship, and he has established a culture of mentoring and learning among his team, which will allow them to become well-rounded designers and leaders for the firm. Daniel is positioning the company for international recognition, as he dreams of landing a project on foreign shores or working with architecture firms in other countries. As a registered ASEAN Architect with a well-trained and knowledgeable team behind him, he is ready to take that step towards international relevance while still maintaining the culture of excellence and mentorship he has created at ADGO.
